iPhone 14 vs iPhone 13: what is different?

The iPhone 14 looks very much like the iPhone 13 and has the same A15 Bionic chip family. It adds Crash Detection and a slightly improved camera. The iPhone 14 Plus gives you a 6.7-inch screen and a 4,325 mAh battery, which is the main reason to choose it. There is no iPhone 14 mini.

In-stock alternatives

If you want something today, the iPhone 13 is very similar in daily use, while the iPhone 14 Pro adds a 48MP camera and a 120Hz display.

Storage options explained

Apple sold the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Our last listings covered 128GB and 256GB for the iPhone 14, and 256GB for the 14 Plus. If you can afford it, choose 256GB, as 128GB can run out quickly once photos, videos and WhatsApp media build up.

Who should buy the 14 or 14 Plus?

• iPhone 14: a comfortable size for most hands, and good for everyday use and photos.
• iPhone 14 Plus: best for people who want a big display and long battery life without paying for a Pro Max.

Neither has the 120Hz display or the 48MP camera from the Pro models, and both charge through Lightning.
