iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max in Kenya: price and who should buy

The iPhone 16 series is not in our regular stock, but we can check availability for you. The prices below are the last ones we listed, so treat them as a guide and confirm on WhatsApp (0704 839 296).

What makes the iPhone 16 different

Every iPhone 16 model has a Camera Control button and supports Apple Intelligence. The iPhone 16 has the A18 chip, a 6.1-inch display and a 48MP main camera, and the iPhone 16 Plus stretches that to 6.7 inches.

The iPhone 16e is the simpler model, with one rear camera and no Dynamic Island.

iPhone 16 Pro Max in Kenya

The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch 120Hz display, a titanium frame, a 5x telephoto camera and a 4,685 mAh battery. The iPhone 16 Pro has the same cameras in a 6.3-inch size.

Should you buy one now?

Compare before you decide. The Brand New iPhone 17 Pro starts at KSh 170,000 and is in stock. If your budget is lower, the Ex-UK iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at KSh 105,000 and also runs Apple Intelligence.

Which iPhone 16 model suits you?

• iPhone 16e: the simplest and cheapest way into the range, for calls, WhatsApp, photos and everyday apps. It has a single rear camera.
• iPhone 16: adds a second ultra wide camera, the Dynamic Island and the Camera Control button.
• iPhone 16 Plus: the same phone with a larger display and a bigger 4,674 mAh battery. It suits people who watch a lot of video.
• iPhone 16 Pro: adds the 120Hz display, a titanium frame and a 5x zoom lens in a 6.3-inch size.
• iPhone 16 Pro Max: the same Pro features on a 6.9-inch display, with the longest battery life of the range.

How much storage do you need?

Apple sold the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB. The 16 Pro started at 128GB and the 16 Pro Max at 256GB, with larger options above them. If you shoot a lot of 4K video or keep your WhatsApp media, 256GB is a safer starting point than 128GB, since you cannot add storage later.

Brand New or Ex-UK?

Our last listings for the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max included Ex-UK phones, which cost much less than Brand New ones. A used phone can be good value, but check the battery health and read our Ex-UK guide first. Always confirm which condition a price refers to.
